Obala Grupa

Obala Grupa, a Croatian importer and distributor of food and drinks started operating in 1994.

The business began by importing the brand Orangina which was promoted as Obala Promel in the country. With time, Obala Grupa began to extend its range and introduced more beverages.Recently, Obala Grupa started to provide food items as well. 

Obala Grupa has grown over the years and has opened 2 offices in Bosnia & Herzegovina and Slovenia. Moreover, Obala Grupa is active in 15 countries. The company operates its own production facility. 

Obala Grupa works with many clients within the HoReCa and retail sectors. In fact, it distributes products to 28000 retail outlets and 57000 HoReCa outlets. In Croatia, Obala Grupa supplies 83% of the HoReCa market and 78% of the Croatian market. 

Moreover, it exports to countries like Poland, Romania, New Zealand, UAE, Singapore, etc. 

Obala Grupa achieved a turnover of € 4.4 million in 2019 and employed 25 people during that period.

At present, Obala Grupa provides products in the following categories:

• Drinks: soft drinks, wines, juices, syrups, etc.
• Sweet Grocery: jams, sweets, tea, etc.
• Savory Grocery: sauces, ready-meals, canned foods, etc.

The portfolio also consists of organic products. 

Obala Grupa is the exclusive distributor for products such as Hollinger, Deroni, RUF, Limona, Rockstar, etc. The company works with over 450 partners and has been collaborating with over 10 producers for over 10 years. 

Moreover, it provides products under its own brands:

• Vodka Tsar: a line of vodka
• Limona: a brand of low carbonated juice made from limes and lemons

Obala Grupa imports its products from countries like Algeria, Italy, UK, etc. 

The firm manages its own laboratory where it carries out tests to ensure that all products are of good quality. The laboratory is also responsible for developing new products. 

Obala Grupa operates a total of 7 warehouses with a total storage area of 10000 m3. Among these, 2 are found in Croatia. 

Obala Grupa is interested in branded products and is also looking for those manufacturers that hold a halal certificate.
