Founded in 1959 by Yordan Obegi, Obegi Consumer Products is an importer of FMCG products in the Lebanese and Iraqi market. Its headquarters is based in Zouk Mosbeh, Lebanon. The company sources its products from countries such as Belgium, Scotland, France, Germany, England, United States, Japan and many others. 

Moreover, Obegi Consumer Products joined forces with Henkel Germany which led to an opening of a detergent plant for local manufacturing. 

In the financial year 2020, the business achieved a turnover of €19 million and employed 250 people. 

Obegi Consumer Products offers various products in the following categories:

Furthermore, brands such as Kikkoman, Alpen, Weetabix,  Le Chat, Huggies, Energizer, Persil, Eveready, California Scents, etc,  are endorsed by the firm. 

It is noteworthy that Obegi Consumer Products developed its own brands under the following names:

• Al Wadi Al Akhdar: This brand consists of products such as canned and frozen vegetables, condiments, cheese, etc. 
• Bihar: It is an authentic and high quality cheese brand. 
• Dounya: It is a coffee brand. 

Pertaining to its logistics solutions, the company provides freight forwarding services and over 15,000 square metres of storage space. Moreover, a fleet of 42 optimally-conditioned trucks are available to conduct its deliveries nationwide. 

In addition, recently the firm expanded its business into the Moroccan market with the chocolate brand Aiguebelle.
