Orkla Confectionery & Snacks Sverige

Founded in 2014 as a result of a merger between OLW and Göteborgs Kex, Orkla Confectionery & Snacks Sverige is a leading manufacturer of confectionery, biscuits and snacks, headquartered in northern Stockholm.

The business has several production facilities across Sweden. The Filipstad facility, which is  18,000 sqm in size, can stock about 14,000 pallets of snacks. Furthermore, the firm also has a shop in the same region which provides an oasis of snacks from OLW.  

With over 600 employees, the company achieves an annual turnover of € 1106.08 million, facing a rise of 5.3% in 2020. 

Several items are available in the various categories such as:

• Savory Grocery: salty peanuts, potato chips, cheese arches, etc
• Sweet Grocery: popcorn, confectionery, nuts, etc

Additionally, the company produces its private labels including (but not limited to):

• OLW:  which offers various products such as sweets, chocolates, chips, etc.
• Cheez Doodles: which offers a wide range of snacks such as crispy corn on the cob
• Choco Cheez: which provides several items made from a combination of cheese and chocolate. 
• Anyday Nuts: which offers an assortment of nuts  

With regards to the environment, Orkla Confectionery & Snacks Sverige subscribes to the UN's Global Compact initiative, implementing a range of sustainable goals. For example, since 2017, the business has switched to green electricity produced from renewable sources. Moreover, it is also an active partner in the organisation Dandelion Children which works for the social benefit of children.
