Pharmacy A5 was founded in 2006 in Russia. The company is a subsidiary of Pharmacy chain 36.6.

The company owns over 1000 drugstores and 300 of them are found in some Russia’s popular supermarket including Karusel, Pyaterochka, Perekrestok and many others.

The company X5 Retail acquired 8.45% of the chain in 2011 and has been working on improving the performance of Pharmacy A5. 

Pharmacy A5 offers a range of rare medecines all thanks to its new technologies and new retail standards.

Pharmacy A5 owns private labels under which the company provides pharmaceuticals products and medical goods  in pharmacies. These private labels are:

• Norma
• Pharmadar

Pharmacy A5 also runs an educational centre and staff are regularly trained in order to offer the best service to customers.
