Piwa Food

Founded in 1984, Piwa Food is an importer of grocery products and drinks, focusing on products having a long shelf life. Piwa Food imports from Europe and Asia. The firm is based in Sweden where it distributes various brands. Piwa Food has helped manufacturers in creating their own brands and has also launched its private labels. Furthermore, the company develops private labels for its clients. 

Piwa Food distributes to retailers and businesses in the HoReCa sector. Some of its clients are ICA, Coop, Axfood, Netto, Lidl, Martin & Servera, Menigo, etc. 

The business achieves an annual turnover of around € 40 million. 

Piwa Food offers products in the following categories:

• Sweet Grocery: biscuits, sweet canned, food, honey, fruit cocktails, etc.

• Savory Grocery: canned foods, cup noodles, snacks, rice, ready-meals, etc.

• Drinks: ginger beer, juice, ice tea, energy drinks, water, etc.

Piwa Food distributes products from brands such as Kitchen 88, Crispy, Gullon, Fauvette, etc. Piwa Food works with around 40 producers. 

Furthermore, the company also launched its own label, Buffé which offers mashed potatoes, snacks, etc.

Concerning the logistics, Piwa Food operates a 7500 m2 warehouse. The company maintains an EDI connection with its suppliers, transporters and clients to ensure that deliveries go on smoothly.
