Saveco

Saveco is a chain of retail stores and supermarkets which was founded in 2013 in Kuwait. The company is a subsidiary of Al-Qatami Group and offers a wide selection of products including organic and gluten-free goods. Saveco quickly gained popularity in Kuwait and launched an online store as well.

At present, Saveco operates 3 stores in Kuwait.

Saveco attained a turnover of € 9.19 million in 2015 and employs 50 persons. Furthermore, the website Business Chief recognises it as the largest supermarket chain in Kuwait. 

Saveco offers products in various categories which include:

• Sweet Grocery - sugar, pastries, candy, chocolates and gum

• Savory Grocery- oil, flour,chips and pulses

• Frozen Foods - frozen vegetables, frozen seafood, ice cream, desserts and meat.

• Drinks - juices, smoothies, soft drinks and water

• Home & Personal Care - make up, hair care, nail care and baby care products

Saveco has partnered with brands such as Bob's Red Mill, Gerard Cosmetics, Sacha Cosmetics, Piksters,Grace Cole, etc. 

The firm proposes a large variety of organic, vegan and gluten-free products and customers are encouraged to inform the company which items they wish to purchase in case they are not yet available. Furthermore, the company’s CEO manages all the social media accounts in order to communicate with customers directly.

Saveco has created a free delivery system which allows customers to message the staff through Whatsapp. 

Saveco also launched the Food Academy which are within the stores. Customers can learn to prepare specific products. This is the company’s way of educating customers about healthy eating habits.
