Scand Choco

In 2005 Martin Jorgensen founded Scandchoco, an importer and distributor of premium and exclusive food and drinks based in Sweden. Initially, the business operated under the name Scandinavian Chocolate Company, specialising in the trade of chocolate products. The name was shortened to Scandchoco when the firm started to expand its product portfolio.

Scandchoco started by offering products to restaurants and hotels. Nowadays, Scandchoco’s clients also include retailers, pharmacies. delicatessens, interior stores, gift shops and cafes. Scandchoco also operates an online shop.

At present, Scandchoco provides the following products in the following categories:

• Savory Grocery: spices, oil, sauces, chips, nuts, etc.

• Sweet Grocery: chocolate, truffles, tea, etc.

• Drinks: fresh fruit juices, etc. 

Scandchoco also offers vegan, lactose-free and sugar-free products. 

Scandchoco offers products from brands such as Bradley’s, Josh & Josh Crisps, Licorice Chef, Monbana, etc. 

Scandchoco is also involved in the development of private labels for its clients, according to their own specifications and needs. 

In 2020, Scandchoco launched a new premium brand, Carl Larsson, influenced by the Swedish artist, Carl Larsson. The brand is a collaboration between Scandchoco and Carl Larsson Farm Sundborn. For the packaging, replicas of Carl Larsson’s work are being used. 

The brand Carl Larsson consists of 4 products:

• Chocolate Truffles: exclusive chocolate truffles

• Licorice: Licorice bars

• Tea: mango flavored tea

• Polka Pig: a Swedish stick candy
