Based in the UK since 1973, Sea Products International (SPI) is the leading importer of frozen seafood and fish products. The firm is part of the International Seafood Group, Landauer. It is headquartered in Birmingham.

The customers of SPI include wholesalers, cash & carries, Chinese and Indian distributors, fish merchants, food manufacturers and retailers.

In 2015, SPI won the British Frozen Foods Federation (BFFF) Annual Catering Awards GOLD Award for best New Starter/Buffet/Appetiser product.

In the foodservice sector, SPI offers high quality products with full traceability. The company works alongside menu development teams of renowned restaurant groups to develop its range of products in order to meet its clients requirements.

In the Asiatic field, SPI has buying and QC personnel in every buying area to ensure that its customers get the highest quality seafood. Additionally, the quality and the production process are closely monitored by the firm. 

SPI offers several services such as developing products for brands and private labels as well as recommending product solutions for any variety of seafood.

SPI was reported to have achieved a turnover of €33.9 million.

Furthermore, SPI is BRC and MSC certified. It is noteworthy that all suppliers and producers associated with SPI are regularly audited and are accredited as well.

SPI owns a private label, Ocean Pearl, under which the majority of its products are packed.

In regards to logistics, SPI owns a cold centre located near to the city centre of Birmingham.
