Sephora, a chain of cosmetics stores, was established in 1970 by Dominique Mandonnaud. Its headquarters is based in Boulogne Billancourt, France. It has operated as a subsidiary of LVMH since 1997. Sephora grew by acquiring 85 stores of the perfume chain, Marie-Jeanne Godard.
Moreover, the firm has expanded by opening 332 stores across the country and a total of 2700 stores in 35 countries worldwide as well as an online shop.
