Shoppers Drug Mart is a retailer that offers personal care and over-the-counter pharmaceutical products and was founded in 1962 in Canada by pharmacist Murray Koffler, who inherited two Koffler's Drugs pharmacies at the age of 20. The firm reunited individual pharmacies under one name. By 2001, Shoppers Drug Mart was listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and is part of the Shoppers Drug Mart Corporation. The company was acquired by LobLaw Companies in 2013. 

Furthermore, Shoppers Drug Mart had 17 stores in 1962 and it expanded to 1307 stores as well as a mobile app operating in Canada today.

Brands such as Garnier, Avène, Chanel, Clean, Darphin, Dior and Nivea collaborate with Shoppers Drug Mart. These are imported from France, UK, Italy and many other countries.

Shoppers Drug Mart also launched its private labels which consist of the following brands:

• Quo: Quo is a cosmetics brand launched in 1999 and offers products such as face care and make up as well as professional makeup accessories.
• Life: Since 1962, this brand has been offering products such as supplements and oral care products. The company has over 2000 references.
• SANIS: This brand offers drug products which are meant to ensure that no medication errors are made.

The LOVE YOU program was launched by Shoppers Drug Mart to help in improving women’s health.
