Sol Natural

Sol Natural is a Spanish company which was founded by Xavier Vila and Stef Sanders in 1992. Based in Spain, the company aims to offer organic products to their customers. It started its operations by becoming the sole distributor of Zonnatura, a Dutch organic food brand, and grew rapidly.

The company, providing around 400 references, has 1500 points of distribution, including bio stores, retail, pharmacies, etc. 

Various products are available in the following categories:

• Sweet Grocery: jam, pastries, chocolates, cereals, etc.
• Savory Grocery: condiments, pasta, oil, etc
• Drinks: energy drinks, juices, sparkling drinks, etc
• Dairy: organic milk, eggs, cheese, etc
• Personal Care: essential oils, soaps, deodorant, etc

Furthermore, Sol Natural distributes a wide range of brands like Artemis, Beee, Bioreal, Ghee Easy, Everfresh, etc.

The products are imported from countries such as China, UK, Netherlands, etc. 

It has launched its own brand of organic products, Sol Natural, featuring jams, cereal, pasta, superfoods,etc. The range also offers gluten-free, vegan and sugar-free products. 

Currently, Sol Natural is interested in products for its own label in the following categories:

• Savory Grocery: rice, pasta, pulses, oils, condiments, etc.
• Sweet Grocery: industrial pastries, chocolates, sweets, etc.
• Dairy: yoghurts, desserts, cheese, milk, cream, etc. 
• Drinks: juices, soft drinks,  and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Chilled & Fresh Food: wraps, sandwiches, charcuterie, etc.
• Household: dishwash, laundry care, disposables, etc.

Sol Natural is also looking for recyclable packaging and is looking for solutions to reduce or eliminate the use of packaging where possible.

Furthermore, the company owns a 1800 m2 warehouse in Barcelona.

Since 2008, Sol Natural has been donating 0.1% of its turnover towards humanitarian projects in countries like Nepal, Ethiopia, Costa Rica, etc. The company has been supporting projects such as women empowerment programmes and musical festivals. Sol Natural also collaborates with NGOs like The Direct Help Foundation.
