Solera Beverage Group

Solera Beverage Group is a distributor of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks which was founded in 2002 in Norway. The company was launched by Einar A. Engelstad which has been operating since 1924. Solera Beverage Group imports from the US, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Chile, France, etc. 

Solera Beverage Group englobes several different companies involved in the import and distribution of drinks and a logistics company as well. 

Solera Beverage Group distributes to hotels, retail shops, restaurants and is also involved in the travel retail sector and the on-trade market. In fact, the firm counts over 1000 restaurants and hotels as clients. 

Solera Beverage Group launched a division in Sweden in 2004 and another one in Finland in 2006. 

In 2009 Solera Beverage Group merged with Prime Wine Group. 

Since 2011 the Finnish investment company Capman acquired the company. 

By 2012 the business acquired Five Eyes, a business involved in travel retail and by 2013, it merged with Vinnet, Vinaren and Tistron Wine Group. 

Solera Beverage Group employs 135 people and a turnover of € 160.1 million was achieved in 2013. 

Solera Beverage Group offers products in the drinks category such as champagne, wine, soft drinks, energy drinks and healthy drinks. The company has also introduced a sugar-free range on the market.
