Spapens

Founded by Veerle and Koen Spapens in 1952, Spapens is a family business which operates a cash & carry in the Belgian market. Its headquarters is based in Marcinelle, Belgium. 

With regards to its distribution channels, the business distributes its products to catering industries, retailers, wholesalers and many more. Moreover, a cash & carry is at the disposal for both individual and professional customers. 

Spapens achieves an annual turnover of €5 million and it employs more than 15 people. 

Furthermore, the enterprise provides a large selection of goods in different categories such as: 

• Frozen: breads, pastries, pastas, etc. 
• Chilled & fresh: sandwiches, salads, baguettes, etc. 
• Dairy: butter, cream, yoghurt, etc. 
• Savoury grocery: oils, pastas, vinegars, etc. 
• Drinks: water, juices, soft drinks, etc. 

Spapens endorses various brands such as Profand, Tadal, Drovanti, Knorr, Debic, Jermayo, Lutosa, etc. 

Concerning logistics, Spapens operates its distribution centre and has a fleet of temperature-controlled trucks to conduct its deliveries.
