Established in 1994, Stokrotka is a Lithuanian-owned Polish chain supermarket.
At the end of the year 2021, Stokrotka's store network comprised over 840 owned and franchised stores. It also provides an online store.
The chain store has approximately 11,000 employees with a turnover amounting to over €1 billion.
It offers a variety of products in different categories:
- Sweet Grocery: chocolate, cereals, chewing gums, etc.
- Savory Grocery: olive oil, soup, pasta, etc.
- Chilled and Fresh: meat, sausage, salad, etc.
- Frozen: vegetables, pizza, ready-made meals, etc.
- Drinks: water, fizzy drinks, juice, etc.
- Dairy: cheese, butter, milk, etc.
- Personal care: shampoo, shower gel, deodorants, etc.
- Household: kitchen towels, cleaning products, gardening products, etc.
- Wine and spirits: wine, beer, whisky, etc.
The company offers different products under its private brand labels:
- MW home food: eggs, milk, yogurt, etc.
- MW simply: meatballs, canned goulash, salon, etc.
In 2022, the Stokrotka chain signed an agreement to take over 14 grocery stores operating in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship.
Currently, it has three large and modern distribution centers: in Teresin, in Psary in the Silesian Voivodeship and in Lublin.
In 2022, the retail chain has plans to expand its logistics and open a larger distribution center in Teresin.
Moreover, in the year 2022, Frigo logistics, a leading logistics operator in Poland for deep-frozen, fresh and pharmaceutical products has signed an agreement with the Stokrotka.
The operator will provide full logistics services for Stokrotka in the field of storage and transport of frozen products, directly from its distribution center in Radomsko.
