Founded in 1905, Thakral Corporation is an importer and distributor in beauty care and lifestyle products. It is headquartered in Shanghai, China. 

With regards to its distribution channels, it supplies pharmacies, wellness stores, spa chains including TMall, Taobao, JD.com, Xiaohongshu (Red) and others.

In 2018, Thakral Corporation signed a joint-venture agreement with UK-based at-home beauty online retailer known as ‘CurrentBody’ as part of its expansion in China. 

The Group’s core business comprises a growing real estate investment portfolio in Australia, Japan and Singapore. It also operates offices in India as well as Hong Kong. 

In the financial year 2022, the group achieved a turnover of €149.3 million.

Thakral Corporation offers a selection of products in the personal care category like skin care, hair care, face care, etc. 

In 2016, Thakral Corporation established its private label “GemLife” for resort style retirement living. 

The company supports brand partners with a full suite of integrated sales, digital and trade marketing, price management as well regulatory and logistics support services.

Moreover, China remains the key market for its Lifestyle Division.
