Tisacoop is a Serbian company active since 1990, specializing in the import and distribution of food products and commodities into Serbia, predominantly from Hungary and other EU countries such as Poland, The Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. It operates from Kanjiza in northern Serbia near the Hungarian border. The company serves all major retail chains in Serbia and supplies commodities to the food industry, including confectionery producers.
Its product portfolio includes a wide range of food items such as breaded and filled turkey products, frozen turkey parts, cold cuts, sausages, frankfurters, liver pates, smoked turkey leg, Trappist and Karavan cheeses, processed and round-packed cheeses, luncheon-meat, various pates, frozen puree, French fries, and more.
Since 2011, Tisacoop has expanded into retail with "Hungarikum Centar" stores located in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Subotica, and Kanjiza, offering Hungarian and local delicacies along with specialty products like Zsolnay porcelains and handmade Hungarian textiles and ceramics. The company also integrates beekeepers from Vojvodina through its honey processing plant operational since 2018 under the brand TISAMED, producing about 1,000 tons yearly.
With a logistical infrastructure featuring temperature-controlled storage (+5 and -18°C) and a fleet of vehicles, Tisacoop services hundreds of partners daily. It adheres to international food safety standards including ISO 22000:2018, IFS, and HALAL certifications, maintaining rigorous quality control via an in-house laboratory ensuring product traceability and compliance.
