Toppits Foods

Established in 1897 by Saul Pillemer, Toppits Foods is an importer and distributor of frozen food products on the Canadian market. Its headquarters is based in Vaughan, Canada. The company is owned by the Canadian company Ocean Premier Inc. 

Toppits Foods supplies its products to different distribution channels such as supermarkets, specialist shops, wholesalers, restaurants and manufacturing industries as well. Its clients are Metro, Costco, Intermarche, Whole Foods, Centra Supermarket, Loblaw’s, Sobeys, etc.  

Toppits Foods achieves an annual turnover of €16.6 million and employs around 80 people. 

Moreover, the importer provides a variety of products in the Frozen Food Category such as (non-exhaustive list): 

• Octopus 
• Gluten-free breaded fish 
• Calamari rings 
• Crab and lobsters. 

It is noteworthy that the firm offers all its products under its own brand “Toppits”. 

The company ensures that its product specifications are being met at all times therefore it uses a trusted third-party inspection firm at all its certified production facilities. Moreover, Toppits Foods provides MSC, ASC and BAP certified products to its customers. 

With regards to its logistics solutions, Toppits Foods operates its own production facilities and deliveries are arranged via a fleet of trucks.
