Vapiano is a chain of restaurants that was launched in Germany in 2002. The chain is known for its Italian cuisine and the freshness of the ingredients used. In fact, many of the ingredients used in their dishes such as sauces and pasta are prepared in the restaurants. 

Vapiano counts around 39.6 million customers worldwide.

Vapiano operates 231 restaurants in over 33 countries. This includes 32 restaurants which were launched in 2018. Vapiano has developed rapidly in many countries by franchising. There are plans to develop in various countries including Canada, Japan, Argentina, etc. 

Vapiano is listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 2017. 

Vapiano achieved a turnover of € 380 million in 2018. This demonstrates that Vapiano’s turnover has grown by 12.9% compared to 2017. The firm employs 7225 people.

Vapiano is constantly offering training to all its staff. Hence, the company has developed an online training program and has set up 2 training centres: Vapiano Vii Learning and Vii Academy.
