Velier is an importer, exporter and distributor of wines and spirits founded in Italy in 1947 by Casimoro Chaix. Known for offering an extensive portfolio of alcoholic beverages, Velier provides a number of best selling and trendy brands. 

In 2020, Velier moved to its new headquarters in Genoa

Velier works with distributors like La Maison de Whiskey, Ultra Premium Brand and Vault Fine Spirits, thus exporting its products to countries like India, Czech Republic, France, etc. 

Furthermore, Velier also set up 2 stores with LMDW. 1of them specialises in Rum Velier while the other focuses on Triple A wines.

In 2020, Velier achieved a turnover of €76.4 million and employed 74 people. 

Velier provides an array of products in the drinks and wine & spirits category such as champagnes, wines, tequila, mixers, etc. 

Some of the brands available include Monte Alban, El Dorado, Chamarel, Nikka, Monin, etc. 

Furthermore, Velier is the exclusive distributor for brands like Ron Diplomatico and Brown-Forman. 

Velier has also developed several lines of products in collaboration with other distilleries. The company launched the brand RhumRhum PMG with Bielle Distillery and Gianni Vittorio Capovilla.

Previously, Velier has worked on a line of Caribbean rums which launched in 2001 as Damoiseau. 

Velier is the first Italian business to import drinks from Chile, Argentina, USA, etc.
