The group's flagship manufacturing arm includes the **Ulduz Chocolate Factory** (Ulduz Şokolad Fabriki), Azerbaijan's largest confectionery producer and market leader in the Caucasus region. Established around 2001, Ulduz specializes in high-quality chocolates, candies, and confectionery products such as Khoncha, Coco-Ulduz, Tango, and Sweet varieties. The factory employs modern Italian, Turkish, and German equipment and has repeatedly expanded production lines, launching new chocolate fudge, packaged chocolates, and jelly-in-chocolate sweets by 2019 to boost output by 1.5-2 times[1][3]. In early 2020, Ulduz produced 2,652.4 tons of chocolate—about 70% of Azerbaijan's total—selling 1,933.9 tons domestically and exporting 485.9 tons to around 20 countries, operating at 34.3% capacity with substantial growth potential[5][6].
