Vinoteca Mendibil

Vinoteca Mendibil is an importer and distributor of premium wine. The company was founded in 2001 by Iñaki Solbes. It started in 1894 when Martín Gaztelumendi opened a wine shop, named Casa Gaztelumendi, in Irun’s Calle Mayor, which was then taken over by Pilar Gaztelumendi and then by her son, Martin. Vinoteca Mendibil expanded and was modernised when the founder partnered with Miguel Salas, an expert of wine. It is headquartered in Gipuzkoa, Spain.

Vinoteca Mendibil owns another branch called Bodegas Franco Españolas. The firm created the popular Diamante wine.

Vinoteca Mendibil offers more than 3000 references in the food categories.

Moreover, Vinoteca Mendibil frequently organises wine tastings in La Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Navarre and Bordeaux.

Vinoteca Mendibil operates a warehouse of 500m2 at Zaisa logistics centre in Irun where a large variety of products are stored in appropriate conditions. Their main office is an establishment of  270 m2 which consists of a wine tasting room. The business also offers international and local deliveries. In addition, Vinoteca Mendibil takes care of all custom paperworks and export formalities.
