Founded by Quetin Gargan in 1983 in Ireland, Wholefoods Wholesale is an import and distribution company focusing on natural food and beverages as well as personal care products. The company is a subsidiary of Total Produce.

Wholefoods Wholesale offers over 8000 references from around 500 brands and supplies products to health food stores, food service companies, grocery shops, wholesalers as well as corporate firms, etc. Some of its clients include Google and LinkedIn. 

In 2017, the company launched a phone application which facilitates the ordering process.

Wholefoods Wholesale currently employs over 75 persons which include a sales team of 17 employees involving qualified nutritionists. The firm achieved a turnover of approx €13 million.
