Zelected Foods

Founded in 2004 by the married couple Mette and Palle Lorenzen, Zelected Foods is an importer and distributor of food products on the Danish market. Its headquarters is based in Gislev, Denmark. 

Zelected Foods covers the national territory through several distribution channels such as restaurants, industrial kitchens, catering establishments, canteens and other HoReCa clients. Moreover, an e-commerce platform is at the disposal of its customers. 

Zelected Foods achieves an annual turnover of €4.5 million and has a sales force of over 15 people handling the day to day operations. 

Moreover, the importer offers several types of products in the following categories: 

• Savoury grocery: oils, pastas, canned goods, etc. 
• Sweet grocery: teas, baking flour, toppings, etc. 

Brands such as Yuka Tea, Favorita, Caputo, Box to Bake, Okomama and many others are endorsed by the firm. 

The business developed its own brand under the name “Zelected” which consists of products such as mayonnaise, antipasti salad mix, spice oils, etc. 

In relation to its logistics solutions, Zelected Foods operates its warehouse and has a fleet of trucks to manage its deliveries.
