The firm, although part of the MMI Group in Dubai, is independently owned. Moreover, it also possesses a shop of liquor, spirits, and imported beers, providing an exclusive selection of premium wine and spirits throughout the island.

Additionally, the business is in partnership with several companies such as MMI Dubai, Distell, Concha Y Toro, etc, and supplies world class alcohol at great prices. 

ZMMI provides several items in the wine & spirits categories such as rum, gin, tequila, whiskey, etc. 

Furthermore, the company endorses several international brands such as Belvedere Vodka from Poland, Jelzin from France, Evan Williams Bourbon from the USA,etc. 

Regarding the environment, the firm partnered with a social enterprise named Chako, which specialises in handcrafted products derived from upcycled waste materials. Moreover, ZMMI also invests in the Rotary Club of Zanzibar in order to help the community.
