Açaí Powder

Acai is a small purple berry, sustainably harvested in the depths of the Amazon.

The Berries are dry frozen right after they are harvested, so that all their nutrients and beneficial properties are kept. Acai berries have a high concentration of anthocyanins, potent antioxidants, and therefore protect DNA from damage by free radicals; strengthen the immune system; prevent early ageing, cardiac disease, and the appearance of cancer cells.

In addition, Acai helps nourish the body after exercise; helps absorb nutrients, and efficiently promotes the expulsion of waste from the body.  It is a source of essential fatty acids (omega 3 and 6) - which strengthen the cardiovascular system - vitamins (E and B6, among others) and minerals.

It is also a source of phytosterols, and potentially reduce cholesterol levels.
