Chianti is one of the major symbols of Italy's great wine-making tradition. The Acino d'Oro brand represents an expression of this culture.
CHARACTERISTICS
The grapes are manually harvested and pressed with elimination of stalks. Fermentation takes place in wooden vats with maceration that lasts 15 days and daily pump-overs. Fermentation occurs at a controlled temperature so to preserve aromas and alcohol. The wine is then naturally cold stabilized and aged in big oak casks for a period of 2 years.
