Albada tinto
ALBADA is produced at DO Calatayud and it is made of 100% Garnacha grapes coming from old vines (+50 years old).
It is a young and fun yet very complex wine given that it spends seven months in contact with its lees. It shows great fruit intensity, expressing the true Garnacha character and terroir of origin - without artifice.
The word "Albada" has two meanings: one refers to the ancient songs of the local vine growers, while the other means dawn.
The circular art work of the label was designed by the artist Aitor Tellechea. It is an etching that represents the "Garnacha from Aragon", the place of origin of this grape variety, which is now spread worldwide. The circle means perfection, well-balanced power; from the beginning to the end. The course of life that begins again every season for our wine, in the vineyard.
