Balu BBQ Rub

Captain Spice aka Bálint „Balu” Kondákor, our friend named this rub. Ingredients of quality BBQ: low&slow brisket and this rub.

This rub is nothing more and nothing less than the captain of seasoning, a rub that perfects the beef.It is recommended for low&slow cooking as the brown sugar caramelizes in perfect harmony, the crushed black pepper, coriander and mustard seed make a holy trinity of tastes on the meat.

The BALU RUB is one of my self-developed spice mixes that I used on KCBS organized BBQ competetions in Hungary and abroad. I’d like to think that this rub was essential for winning 4 times the Grand Champion Award.
