Bianco
€ Core price
Bianco is a semi-hard cheese that can be considered one of Bergader’s true specialities made using traditional Bavarian craftsmanship. Top quality milk from the Bavarian Alpine Foreland and other superior ingredients make Bianco an exceptional treat. Bianco comes in two flavours: natural and garlic.
Distinctive characteristics:
“Bianco” and “Bianco Garlic” are considered absolute classics at the cheese counter. “Bianco Natural” is as soft as butter with a mild but slightly sour flavour. “Bianco Garlic” is likewise soft and mild with a characteristic garlic and herb flavour (55% f.i.d.m.).
Suggestions for use:
“Bianco Natural” is a semi-hard cheese with ideal melting properties, which is popular not only in children’s lunch boxes. It is great on toast or “au gratin”, but also to add a finishing touch to salads and delicate sauces.
Suggested wine:
Pinot Noir (South Africa)
