Bolo Rainha - Queen's Cake
Similar to the Bolo Rei (King's Cake), Bolo Rainha (Queen's Cake) is a round shaped cake, produced only between September and December. It is a traditional cake for the Christmas season up to the King's Day (6th January). Made of a rich dough, with a lot of dry fruits like almonds, peanuts and nuts.
