Chateau Félines
From the top of the "thirteen winds" hill, the old windmill of Château Félines overlooks our beautiful vineyard, right in the heart of this exceptional terroir. Made from our finest grape varieties, this wine reflects all the expertise and potential of this prestigious La Livinière vintage.
The mineral bedrock, the south-facing slopes bathed in sunshine, and the scant 400 to 500 mm of annual rainfall shape the distinctive power of La Livinière red wines.
The wine displays a deep garnet hue with violet highlights, reflecting both youth and concentration. The nose is intense and refined, opening on notes of licorice, followed by ripe black fruit aromas dominated by blackcurrant and blackberry—hallmarks of the great terroirs of La Livinière. On the palate, the texture is generous and harmonious, supported by silky tannins that lend elegant structure. A fine balance between freshness, depth, and velvety smoothness carries through to a long, persistent, and refined finish.
