Chateau Le Clairiot AOP Bordeaux red 2018

Josiane and Jacques are the proud owners of a 30-hectare domaine in the commune of Margueron. For them, it’s all about the earth, the terroirs, and traditional know-how. These lovers of nature, and  particularly vines, have been carrying out quality work for many years, resulting in château wines of distinctive character.  

Bright, medium deep ruby red colour. Generous nose offering ripe red berries, plum and gentle oak/vanilla notes. The palate is medium towards full with a nicely rounded texture, ripe tannin and a fresh backbone. Spicy notes of butterscotch, vanilla and pepper with a fruity and generous finish.

Service Tips : To taste between 16 and 18°C ; ideal with a Bordeaux-style entrecôte steak, roast beef en croûte or Brie de Meaux cheese.
