Coconut Blossom Sugar
Tropicai Coconut Blossom Sugar - from organic farming
This extraordinary sugar is made from coconut blossom sap which is filtered and heated up sloxly until it crystallizes. It dissolves easily and is characterized by a delicate caramel touch. It is perfectly useable to prepare Crème bûleé, caramelized apple crumble or grandma's crumble plum cake.
A high potassium and zinc content also make this sugar unique.
The inflorescence of the coconut palm tree is tapped and the sweet nutritious sap that flows from it is collected, filtered and minimally heated under controlled temperatures in order to allow the moisture to evaporate until it turns into a sweet, golden brown syrup.
When the coconut blossom syrup is allowed to caramelize and then cooled down, it forms sugar crystals which are then pulverized and sifted into fine Coconut Blossom Sugar. This sugar is unique in aroma and a delicious alternative to any cane sugar.
Coconut Blossom Sugar in contrast to cane beet sugar is high in potassium and other minerals. Not only this, but is also one of the most sustainable sugars in the world.
