Effect
The physiological importance of UV-A radiation has recently been scientifically recognized. The reason for this is that the effect of the excessive exposure to the sun on the skin becomes recognizable only after a long time. Several years may pass before the negative result becomes visible. UV-A rays penetrate deeper into the skin, they reach the skin of the leather, damage the collagen and cause premature skin aging. Organic skin filters are usually used as skin protection in cosmetics. For some time, inorganic filters (minerals) such as titanium dioxide have also been used. 
These inorganic oxides absorb the entire spectrum of the ultraviolet rays A and B. In addition, they are biologically and chemically neutral. They can therefore be used without risk of irritation or allergies in toxic products without risk in cosmetic products. Thanks to the tinted, mineral pigments and the ultra-fine titanium dioxide particles, the cream Solaire Teintée creates a naturally tanned face color.
