Cruz de Piedra Garnacha
CRUZ DE PIEDRA Garnacha is made from ancient Garnacha low bush vines planted in DO Calatayud, located high in the mountains of northern Spain between Madrid and Zaragoza.
This is a serious, powerful Garnacha with concentration and purity. The palate feels both crisp and lifted as well as dense and concentrated. There’s quality to the flavor profile, which offers dense blueberry accompanied with blackberry nuances. It is a purely young wine (no oak ageing).
CRUZ DE PIEDRA is the literal Spanish translation of "stone cross", referring to the stone crosses that mark the Pilgrim's Road to Santiago de Compostela. There is a particularly beautiful example near the vineyards.
