Cruz de Piedra rosé
CRUZ DE PIEDRA is a rosé wine made from ancient Garnacha low bush vines planted in DO Calatayud, located high in the mountains of northern Spain between Madrid and Zaragoza.
Fresh and fruity, it has exuberant concentrated berry flavors (strawberry and raspberry), supported by a magnificent structure, although smooth tannins.
CRUZ DE PIEDRA is the literal Spanish translation of "stone cross", referring to the stone crosses that mark the Pilgrim's Road to Santiago de Compostela. There is a particularly beautiful example near the vineyards.
