Effect
Almost the whole skin is covered with sweat glands. Their most important function is the regulation of body temperature by cooling effect. The human skin has two types of sweat glands, the eccrinen and the apocrine. The eccrine glands are distributed throughout the body. Their main function is the secretion of fluid, which cools the body by evaporation on the skin surface. The eccrine sweat glands but a clear, water-like liquid, which produces practically no smell. The apocrine sweat glands are larger and are only present in certain parts of the body, especially in the armpits, the palms of the feet, the chest, and the anal genital region. Because of their secretion, they are responsible for the development of unpleasant sweat smell.
The deodorants (not to be confused with antiperspirants) contain bactericides. They act against the skin bacteria, which cause the unpleasant odor by decomposition during sweating. COLOSÉ has developed an effective solution against the annoying body odor, the Deo Spray Antibac. Its formula is based on alcohol and myristamidopropyl PG-Dimonium Chloride Phosphates, both generally appreciated for their bactericidal effect and good tolerability.
