DFR Rose MERLOT 2020 DOC-CMD Dealu Mare

An original blend, with a majority of Sauvignon Blanc (85%) and a small addition of Tămâioasă Românească (15%), which combines the freshness of elderberries and gooseberries with discreet notes of basil and honeycomb. The color of the wine is light yellow with greenish shades, and the nose, elegant, brings green pepper, jasmine flowers and mineral sensations. The body, full and crisp, has well-integrated alcohol and a small amount of sugar perfectly compensated by the lively acidity. The taste is intense, with green apples, elder and white grapefruit, to which are added spicy herbs and chalky sensations. The aftertaste, long and fresh, leaves tonic impressions of bittersweet citrus fruits and vegetal hints.
