Grappa Wines
€ Core price
In 1982, with the aim of broadening their output, the Estates began taking their Dolcetto, Nebbiolo, Moscato, Chardonnay and Sauvignon grape pressings to the Bricco Albano Distillery in Barbaresco.
The copper distillation plant was designed and built for high quality production; the distillation process can be carried out at less than atmospheric pressure and grappa obtained at relatively low temperatures. This means not "sending up in smoke" part of the esters and precious aromas that normally evaporate during distilling.
The finished product is collected in a special compartmentalized container that allows production to be divided into batches from the different crus.
