Grilled Artichokes

Artichokes belong to the family of thistle plants and are basically an extremely prickly matter. They are especially good at “heart”: Only their inside can be pickled, which therefore has to be seperated from the hard and fibrillar outer leafs in a very time consuming process. But that`s worth it: on vegetable plates, on pizza, as a snack – everywhere our grilled artichokes cut quiet a brillant figure.
