The apricot, is a universally coveted delicacy - whether in nature as a blossoming worshipper, in world literature as a stimulating aphrodisiac, or in philosophy as a true bringer of knowledge: Confucius, for example, is said to have once achieved enlightenment under an apricot tree, and William Shakespeare also knew about the seductive effect of the golden shining fruit in "A Midsummer Night's Dream".
