Hämmerle Raspberry

It is considered a true power berry, although it is not a berry at all. Botanically, the raspberry belongs to the rose family and is a so-called aggregate fruit. Its taste is juicy and sweet, it has a strong antioxidant effect, and it also contains plenty of vitamins and a remarkable amount of iron. Its scientific name "Rubus idaeus" refers to a legend according to which the purple delicacy initially grew on Mount Ida on the Greek island of Crete. Fortunately, the small fruit with great effect has also made it to our Gefilde and gives rise to an unmistakable noble brandy.
