Hermelín

Till the year 1970, also in Czechoslovakia, a cheese with a white mould on its surface is named “Camembert”. Only after this time, the name “Hermelín” starts to be used becoming a synonym for the whole category of such cheese. On the Czech market, “Král sýrů Hermelín” is one of the most popular natural kinds of cheese with a mould on its surface.
