Prosecco Doc Spumante Extra Dry

Prosecco Bio Bottega is the result of the vinification of selected grapes grown in full compliance with the dictates of organic farming. It is an Extra Dry sparkling wine that is characterized, compared to a traditional Prosecco, by the pronounced aromatic intensity that enhances the organoleptic characteristics.

CHARACTERISTICS

The farming system of the vineyards, grown according to the principles of organic farming, is characterized by the exclusive use of organic and natural pesticides, that ban the chemical pesticides from the vineyard. The land on which the vineyards grow is covered by a layer of grape dregs, an organic material that prevents naturally the growth of weeds (practice known as mulch), avoiding the use of herbicides. The grapes are harvested by hand generally in mid-September. The wine is characterized by limited use of sulfur dioxide (the EU Regulation No. 203 of 2012 provides in this regard 50 mg/l less than the wines produced with conventional methods). The fermentation is carried out according to the Charmat method, at a controlled temperature of 14 ° C, in order to maintain the typical fragrances of origin. Cold stabilization, filtration and bottling close the process.
