Les Ormeaux AOP Bordeaux red
Grape varieties : 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Cabernet Franc
Vinification : The vinification focus is on aromas rather than structure. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc grapes are harvested when they are overripe and the Merlots when maturity is less advanced. They then undergo solid phase Thermovinification. Selected yeasts, temperature control (16-20°C max).
Organoleptic profile and tasting notes
Appearance: garnet red Nose: intense and complex with red fruit aromas Palate: forthright with nice intensity and noticeable tannin. Lovely, clean, spicy finish.
Service Tips : To taste between 17 and 18°C ; ideal with roasted or grilled meats.
