Montasio is a PDO cheese produced in North-East of Italy.

Montasio Fresco (aged more than 60 days) has the characteristic mild and mellow flavour profile of a great Alpine cheese. A careful examination reveals an elastic paste, uniform "eyes"- not too numerous - a pleasant aroma and a harmonious, mild flavour.
