Organic Emmer Flour
Emmer is a foundational ancient grain and is the second eldest of the four ancestral wheats (Einkorn first, Emmer 2nd, Spelt 3rd and Khorasan/Kamut 4th). It has been grown for millennia in the Middle East, North Africa and Italy.
Organic Emmer Flour is milled from the whole grain on our stonemill. The millstone slowly and gently grinds the grain to ensure it is processed at a low temperature and carefully milled. This process ensures that the aroma and vitality of each grain is well preserved.
