PDO/AOP Abondance
- HISTORY
Abondance is a French cheese from the Haute Savoie region. It shares its name with the valley where it was born, the “Val d’Abondance” and the breed of cow that supplies the milk. 100 maturing days minimum.
- OUR PROMISES
It is much appreciated for the hazelnut taste that suits fondues and numerous other dishes. The milk used to make this cheese comes from a single herd which gives it its unique taste.
- OUR SPECIFICITY
We subject our producers to a rigorous selection process in order to be able to offer a standard of cheese that is faultless in terms of the quality of both the milk and the finished product. Our suppliers include two who have been awarded medals. We extend the maturing process for several months in cellars.
