Founded in 1904, Verdannet is  a familly owned company – 3rd  generation  - located in the Savoie region in the Alps mountains.
Verdannet is specialised in the production of the 3 AOP/PDO of Savoie, and recognised for its high quality and traditional cheeses.

CHEESE HISTORY
Tome des Bauges is a French cheese from the Bauges Mountains (Savoie). Tome des Bauges was already being produced back in the 17th century and is the fruit of very ancient traditions and skills. For a long time it was defined as “the cheese peasants eat”.

OUR PROMISES
A fruitier, earthier flavour than traditional Tomme.

The biggest Tome des Bauges producer (300 tonnes).
Tome des Bauges is a cheese produced at just one dairy (IFS/BRC).
