Description
The peppers harvest requires special attention: it must be repeated at least two or three times a week, in order to collect small tender capsules. The peppers collected are processed during the collection day. In a blaze of red and yellow, they are washed, hand-cut into strips and immediately blanched in vinegar. They are left to drain for 6-8 hours, flavored with spices as the tradition and then soaked in extra virgin olive oil. This process helps to make the final product very digestible.
The peppers are preserved in our delicious extra virgin olive oil, without any addition of preservatives, colorants or food additives.
Ingredients: Peppers 59%, extra virgin olive oil 33%, sugar, wine vinegar, ginger, cloves, salt.
Store: Please, keep the jar in a dry and cool place, away from lights. After the opening keep the product covered in its oil and consume within 20 days.
Ideal as: They are delicious eaten just out of the jar as a snack or with char grilled red meat or smoked meat. They are also delicious used in vegetable, pasta and pizza as topping.
